11 Ways to Increase & ROCK Your Party Attendance

When it comes to a Party Plan Business - Everything comes from parties: income, sales, new customers, new hostesses, new team members, and future leaders. The more guests we have in attendance, the more of everything we get!

For example:
1. 5 guests in attendance placing a $60 order = $300 in sales
$75 commission check
1 out of 5 guests book a party = 1 booking

2. 10 guests in attendance placing a $60 order = $600 in sales
$150 commission check
1 out of 5 guests book a party = 2 bookings

3.15 guests in attendance placing a $60 order = $900 in sales
$225 commission check
1 out of 5 guests book a party = 3 bookings

High attendance is the key to getting more of everything from your parties! Consistent high attendance can only come from effective hostess coaching and yet that is the one huge miss that consultants over look.

Here are the 11 things you can do to ensure you have consistently high attendance at your parties:

1.) Make sure your hostess has created a "Wish List." This is her "Why."

2.) By using her Wish List, figure out how much she will need in sales to get her Wish List for free and share that with her. THEN - tell her how many guests she will need in attendance to reach that sales goal.

To figure this out:
Use your company's hostess rewards guide and the dollar amount of the Wish List. Then divide the party total by the average guest spend (this depends on your company's average or your guest spend average. For this example Let's use an average guest spend of $65) = her party goal total in sales.

Example:
$100 Wish list = $600 Party Level
$600 party divided by $65 average guest spend = 9.23 guests in attendance (we always round up :D)

3.) Encourage the hostess to have some kind of theme party. A theme party is more appealing and more fun for the guests, so you'll get more bookings, too! ++Did you know the #1 Reason people book parties today is to have FUN?!++

4.) Help your Hostess create her guest list. Don't just give her a sheet of paper with F.R.A.N.K.S.C. at the top and a bunch of lines under it to fill in with names. Walk her through it and help her think of three names to put in each category: Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, Kid Contacts, Spouse Contacts, Church, Colleagues. Then help her think of friends' relatives and relatives' friends and so on.

5.) Set up a Facebook event for her so you are co-administrator. You can post pictures of product, past parties that depict how much fun they're having. Post comments that are fun and generate excitement about the upcoming party. Message things like: a night off; a glass of wine with girlfriends; real live conversation, and so on. This is your priority, it's your income, it's your new customers and hostesses that will come from this party. For the hostess, it's something fun to do. The Facebook event is more likely to happen if you do it. It's worth a little extra time.
6.) Ask your hostess for her Top 15 Must Have there ladies. Call these your VIPs. Mail them a mini catalog along with an entry form for a special drawing the night of the party (attendance is mandatory) and/or a special coupon because they are the hostesses' VIP.
7.) Make a RedStamp image for your hostess to text out as a reminder and/or Save the Date for the upcoming party! (you can go to RedStamp.com or download the app to your phone)
8.) Have your Hostess Call and personally invite and check in with her 15 Must Have There VIP Guests. Give her a task like "My consultant wants to know what you will be shopping for? what big event is coming up?" It can really be anything in addition to "I would really love it if you are there." and confirm if the VIP guests is attending.

9.) Consider using a service like www.PhoneVite.com to remind guests the day of the party. PhoneVite allows you to record an outgoing message, upload the party guests phone numbers, select the date and time you want the call to be placed and then the call automatically goes out. I use this service 2 hours before the party as just a friendly reminder that Today's the Day for the Party and we cannot wait to party with you! I additionally give the address and hostess contact information. This has proven successful for me and my hostesses with multiple $1200 parties when this service was used. I additionally received multiple times a thank you for guests for the reminder, because they would have forgotten!

10.) Invite your guests to bring a friend to the party! I like to call it the Party Crasher Drawing! You Bring a Friend, you get a prize! Just think about it 10 friends bring 10 friends with an average guest spend of $65, your hostess is looking at $1300 Party (& you a $325 commission check). Now I call that - working Smarter not harder!

11.) Just because the party is over, doesn't mean the orders and guests aren't still coming in! Encourage your hostess to have a 2 day book party immediately following the party. Help her brainstorm all the ladies that were invited, but not able to come. Make sure she gets all contact information (Full Name, Cell # & email) for you to follow up afterwards for some customer care!
Increasing your party attendance is vital to gaining momentum and helping your hostess have a fantastic and fun party that she tells all of her friends about. Make it fun and make it all about Her!
